Sridhar Ramalingam

Biography
Ramalingam Sridhar received his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Washington State University, Pullman. Since 1987, he is with the University at Buffalo, where he is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. His research is in cross-cutting areas spanning circuits to systems, focusing on performance, power, and security in developing reliable green systems. His work impacts embedded systems, connected devices, mobile devices, embedded cloud, and internet of things (IOT). He has numerous publications in power aware solutions, clocking and synchronizations, memory, wave-pipelining, asynchronous systems, special purpose architectures for multimedia, imaging and foveal vision. He is active in many conferences in VLSI, Networks and Security. Prof. Sridhar was an IEEE CAS Distinguished Lecturer. He has chaired IEEE ASIC and SoC Conferences, participated in the program committees of numerous conferences and served on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Circuits & Systems and IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems.
