Juri Schmidt is a 3rd year PhD candidate within the Computer Architecture Group at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He received his master's degree in Computer Engineering in 2014. Juri started his PhD studies with development of the openHMC host controller and later joined the DEEP-ER project to contribute to the Exascale research using emerging memory technologies and advanced memory hierarchies. Graduation is targeted at October 2017.
